Iloilo Business Park takes pride of its BPO District, an area within the 72-hectare township envisioned to become the biggest and largest IT Park in Western Visayas. In the next ten years, a total of 10 BPO Buildings will completely rise and pave way for better opportunities. Presently, One Global Centre is the operation site of BPO companies Transcom Asia and WNS, and Two Global Center where US-based BPO company StarTek operates. BPO company Reed Elsevier operates at the 3rd and 4th floor of Richmonde Tower. This 2016, two new BPO buildings will open namely One Techno Place and Two Techno Place. Megaworld Corporation is spending P5 billion to build 10 office towers in the 72-hectare Iloilo Business Park by 2021. The 100,000 sqm. development is mainly for business process outsourcing companies, and is expected to generate up to 30,000 jobs. More BPO companies have already expressed strong interest to set up operations in Iloilo Business Park. The Phase 1 project is now in its full completion which includes BPO buildings One Global Center, Two Global Center, and the Richmonde Tower. USA-based company StarTek is the first company that opened at Iloilo Business Park in 2014. The significance of having the biggest BPO District and the largest IT Park in the region is exceptional because it will provide better opportunities for call center workers and those who would be choosing to live in the township. High-end luxury and competitive jobs will be a few steps away, emphasizing an inspiring lifestyle elevation for the township and for Iloilo City through Megaworld’s “live-work-play” vision.
